Heart of Illinois Chapter Honors General Shalikashvili with Presentations at Chapter Dinner Meeting
A special program was the high point of the Heart of Illinois Chapter meeting on September 15, 2026, at the Lariat Steakhouse in Peoria, Illinois.
This included a presentation of a paque in Honor of General John Shalikashvili, USA to Bradley University, where he attended college following graduating from Peoria H.S. and before entering the Army.
General John Shalikashvili was a United States Army general who served as Supreme Allied Commander Europe from 1992 to 1993 and the 13th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1993 to 1997.
